Today was 4th July and guess wat? America’ Independence Day today… It was the last day of a long long weekend which was really spent in the blink of my eye. Today me and my friend Vivek planned to visit San Fransisco. I had heard that lots of live shows, fireworks are on display in the evening in the Fisherman’s Wharf Area. Reached SF at 2:30 in the afternoon and caught Bus#30 to Fisherman’s Wharf. When we walked a couple blocks down from the bus stop, we saw the world’s most famous crooked street. It is one of the most wierd and difficult streets to drive on. It is a very steep slope. Looking at other people driving their cars down the crooked street, even i wished i had a car which i could drive on this street. I am sure driving on this street must be an adventure. I must tell ya, SF is a city of slopes all over the place. We enjoyed watching a couple shows at Pier 39 and 41. The men at the show were impressive. We then went to Golden Gate Bridge from where we could see the Fireworks after sunset. All these journeys were covered on bus and we had taken the ticket only once of 1$ 50c and we were showing the same ticket on all buses saying we are transfer passenger ![]()
uLLu banane ka mast idea na?? The fireworks started at 9:30 and lasted for a good 20 minutes. The show was very impressive. I really liked the fireworks show. I wish i had batteries for my digital camera which had not died by the time the fireworks started so i could share with you the video of fireworks on display. We walked back to the bus stop and to our way to Cal Train station to reach Sunnyvale. We managed to get the last train of 12:00 am and reached home at 1:35am.
Quite a celebration by me and my friend Vivek for 4th July. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. It’s 4am and my east coast family is already up and i am going to sleep. Bye.
